Shania Twain CMA Awards 2008
Shania Twain surprised fans as she appeared on stage at 42nd Annual CMA Awards on Wednesday night. This is her first U.S. television appearance since she announced her split with husband Robert “Mutt” Lange back in May.
Twain looked gorgeous as she took the stage at the end of the night to present the final honor of the night - entertainer of the year - to Kenny Chesney.
She told the audience, “It’s good to see all of you too. I hope to be seeing a lot more of you.” Former tourmate John Michael Montgomery told press, “I just hate the fact that she went through her trials and tribulations, and I hope that she comes back as strong as ever. If she puts her mind to it, you ain’t going to stop her.”
