Sam Perry - Oprah's Mystery Man
The man whose shoulder Oprah Winfrey cried on during Barack Obama's victory rally in Grant Park was just a random bystander.
"I don't know who this guy is," Oprah said on Wednesday, showing a picture of herself and the stranger. "But he was very nice to me. At one point I was just sobbing on his shoulder, mascara everywhere."
The man's colleagues identified him as Sam Perry, an Obama campaign worker at Obama's Silicon Valley office in California.
Perry will reportedly appear with Winfrey Friday on a live episode of "The Oprah Winfrey Show."
