Elvis is Top-Earning Dead Celebrity

Elvis Presley has been dead for several decades but he still continues to rake in millions in income.
The King of Rock 'n' Roll pulled in $52 million last year, putting him at the top of Forbes magazine’s list of the top-earning dead celebrities. By comparison, today’s biggest living pop star Madonna, made $40 million last year.
The late Heath Ledger, who died in January this year, debuted on the list in the third place, with an estimated US$20 million earnings, most of which came from his last movie, “The Dark Knight”.
