Jennifer Hudson's Mother Found Dead
The mother of Academy Award-winning actress Jennifer Hudson was reportedly found dead in a South Side home. Investigators said two shooting victims were discovered inside a home belonging to Hudson's mother just before 3:00 this afternoon.
A representative of the family's church, Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist, confirms that 57-year-old Darnell Hudson Donerson was one of the victims. The other victim was identified as Jennifer's brother, Jason, according to TMZ sources. A cousin who lived nearby discovered the bodies.

UPDATE: Jennifer is on a private plane headed to Chicago. She learned of the deaths and boarded the plane immediately.
UPDATE 2: Police believe the shooting was the result of a domestic dispute. Police are reportedly looking for a man and a 7-year-old boy who may have been abducted.
UPDATE 3: The boy is Jennifer's nephew, Julian King. An Amber Alert has been issued. He was taken from the house in the Englewood neighborhood in a white 1994 Chevrolet Suburban SUV, license number X584859 police said. (source)
UPDATE 4:The missing boy, identified as Julian King, 7, may have been abducted by William Balfour, a suspect in the murder who is considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
UPDATE 5: William Balfouris currently on parole after serving jail time for attempted murder, according to the Illinois Department of Corrections website. Balfour is the husband of Jennifer’s sister, Julia, and who also lived at the house.
UPDATE 6: William Balfour, 27, has been taken into custody and is being questioned by authorities, the Associated Press reports. Julian King, Jennifer’s 7-year-old nephew is still missing.
