John Rich and Jerry Montano in Bloody Smackdown
John Rich, of the country band BIG & RICH has been involved in some sort of a blood soaked brawl with Jerry Montano, a former bassist of the rock band Danzig.
According to TMZ.com, the "Nashville Star" host Rich allegedly hit the former Danzig bassist with a beer bottle after a heated argument in the lobby of the Mondrian Hotel in West Hollywood. Paramedics responded to the scene at 4:28 AM. and one of them was treated for a bloody nose but no one was transported to the hospital. Montano was said to have repeated over and over "The little guy hit me."
Rich was reportedly involved in another fight 24 hours before this bloody smackdown.
The Fight #1 took place Wednesday night at the Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip, which is across the street from the Mondrian where Rich was staying.
Rich told cops he was minding his own business when a lady he was talking to went to the restroom -- and suddenly he was socked in the ear by some random dude.
John made a citizen's arrest and when the cops showed up, Chris Poggi -- the alleged assailant -- was arrested.
