Avril Lavigne and Deryck Whibley Marriage In Trouble
Avril Lavigne’s two year marriage to fellow Canadian musician Deryck Whibley is on the rocks, according to new tabloid reports.
The National Enquirer says that the couple have been growing apart since Avril started her world tour earlier this year. The two have tried relying on long distance phone calls and e-mailing to hold their troubled relationship together.
"Deryck isn't motivated in his own career, so he's been drinking and partying." , a source told the Enquirer.
Rumours of their split were fuelled when Deryck was spotted at an LA event this week "huddled at a private table" and holding hands with an unknown woman.
