Eddie Van Halen and Janie Liszewski are engaged. The guitarist proposed to his girlfriend/publicist Janie Liszewski back in August.
 

"They are happy, healthy, very much in love and looking forward to living life together forever," a source close to the couple told People.com. "They are devoted to each other and to experiencing life in a whole new, positive and passionate way."
 

Eddie was previously married to Valerie Bertinelli, with whom he has a son, Wolfgang, 17. It will be the first marriage for Janie Liszewski.
 

The couple plan to wed next June.
