Melissa Etheridge to Marry Partner Tammy Lynn Michaels
Melissa Etheridge and her longtime partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels are planning to tie the knot!
"We have four children and we're trying to find the right time," Etheridge, 47, told "Extra."
Etheridge and Michaels entered into a civil partnership in Malibu in 2003. Now that gay marriage is legalized in California, the couple will make it official.
Michaels, 33, gave birth to the couple's twins - son Miller Steven and daughter Johnnie Rose - in 2006 via an undisclosed sperm donor.
Etheridge is also mom to daughter Bailey Jean and son Beckett from a previous relationship with Julie Cypher.
