Elle Macpherson : Greatest Model of All Time
Australian supermodel Elle Macpherson has been named the greatest model of all time in a UK poll. Also known as The Body, the 44-yr-old beauty topped the poll of 3,000 women carried out by British high street store Debenhams.
Six-foot tall with exceptional body measurements (36-25-35) Elle graced the covers of all the major fashion magazines which includes six cover appearances on Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue.
Elle walked runways for many famous designers and also appeared films including Batman & Robin and The Edge. She has her own fragrance and lingerie line, and according to Forbes, she is worth around £60 million.
Cindy Crawford, 42, was runner-up, with the British supermodel Twiggy in third place. Kate Moss and Liz Hurley were at number 7 and number 9.
