Matt Damon Slams Sarah Palin

Filed under: Celebrity Gossip  |    On : 2008 Sep 10

In an interview with the Associated Press, Matt Damon has spoken out against Republican V.P. nominee Sarah Palin, calling her candidacy absurd and her rise is "like a really bad Disney movie." (Ouch!)

He says that there's a good chance she will become President, if Senator McCain, 72, doesn't survive his first term. And that is a "terrifying possibility."

It's absurd, it's totally absurd, and I don't understand why more people aren't talking about how absurd it is. It's a terrifying possibility. The fact that we've gotten this far and we're that close to this being a reality is crazy.

I need to know if she really think that dinosaurs were here 4,000 years ago. I want to know that, I really do. Because she's gonna have the nuclear codes.

Watch the video.

This is utterly ridiculous.  Who cares what Matt Damon or any other actor or entertainer thinks?  He has and makes enough money not to be affected by the high taxes Obama will put on people and businesses, driving up prices and forcing more jobs out of this country and overseas.  He needs to shut his yap.  His opinion is no more relevant than any other American's.  He clearly has been drinking his own Kool Aid.

I just lost a lot of respect for him. I agree who gives a crap what he our any other actor thinks. Like they are smarter than us. Yea right. I guess he thinks Obama is going to be more qualified.

to kelly- stop reiterating what the mccain ad campaign's been saying about obama.

But I do hope McCain wins so he can send more troops,
spend more billions on weaponries, and continue the bush legacy. After all he owes it to us.

Oh yeah I wonder how he would react to another
terrorist attack by Bin Laden considering he's still on the loose. The fact is, at his advance age
his health is going to be his main concern.
Its just very logical.

I see calamity in our future. Hmm maybe 2012 could
be really it for us. who ever serves the country gets 4 years, right now it's 2008+4yrs....

its a loss loss situition

If he's going to criticize her, he could at least say something intelligent. A really bad disney movie? He obviously feels threatened by her. I think either candidate will be an improvement over the current one.

Bravo Matt for speaking up, We really need to question the sanity of Pentecostal Palin anyway. She and her family have changed church's and beliefs quite rapidly for someone who was baptized Catholic, then shifted to Pentecostal, then shifted to Bible Thumping and says God is always with her. She has spent the most time (15 years) with the Pentecostal Church. Who knows what her values are they seem to be ALL over the map.. unsettled. That is not comforting to know for someone you put your trust in with the Presidency. or Vice Presidency.
She is flippant with people under investigation by her own home state & quite frankly the legislative body that put her up for investigation in Troopergate in a 12-0 vote was 10 republicans  and 2 democrats. I think McCain made another poor judgment choice for VP elect cause he was desperate ! Once the shine wears off the Truth is
a whole lot of ugly  up their in Alaska if you read their local paper The Anchorage Daily news.Do a search online for that paper & read back for the past 8 months..you'll be quite Alarmed at what you see cause it was BEFORE she was nominated for VP and these people had no axe to grind.
