Britney Spears MTV Video Music Awards 2008 Opening Video
Britney Spears opened 2008 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night in LA. Clad in a silver, shimmering flapper dress, the pop princess looked absolutely fabulous! And the star-studded crowd gave her a standing ovation even before she opened her mouth.
"Thank you so much. Thank you for all the love. I'm here tonight to celebrate a very important birthday, the 25th anniversary of the VMAs. This is the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards and it starts right now.", said the pop star.

Britney got a second standing ovation after winning her first ever VMA - best female video for her song "Piece Of Me." In her brief thank you speech she thanked God and her two sons whom she said inspire her every day.

Britney was is and always be beautiful. She rocks, she is the queen of pop. She deserved to win for her video piece of me. It is a great video and song. I would love to see Britney go on a world tour again. I can't wait for her next album to come out. Britney Spears is back greater than ever. I will always buy her albums, they are great, I have all of them, from Baby one more time to Blackout. Britney is the best pop singer, dancer ever. She has worked so hard to get her life, her career, her figure back, she is doing a great job, her music has always been great, she is great period, her music makes me happy.
