Hilary Duff's Father in Jail
Hilary Duff's father Bob will spend the next ten days of his life in jail - all because of a fight over cash for Hilary's birthday party.
Hilary's father and mother, Susan, who have been involved in a bitter divorce battle for two-and-a-half years - appeared in court wednesday, after Susan demanded $25,000 for a party for their daughter's 21st birthday next month. Bob was ordered to pay $12,500 to Susan for the party and sent to jail for contempt of court.
Apparently her father violated an injunction by selling assets without court approval - and without the consent of his spouse so he will spend 10 days in jail for contempt of court. He was also ordered to pay the $367,537 he earned from selling stocks last month into a court repository.
"This isn't what I wanted," Susan could be heard saying as her hubby was led off in handcuffs.
