Jessica Simpson Denies Tony Calling Carrie

A few weeks back Carrie Underwood  claimed that her ex-boyfriend Tony Romo still called her. "The phone will ring and it'll be him, and I'll maybe not answer", she told Allure Magazine.
 

But light-beer spokeswoman Jessica Simpson insists her beau Tony Romo isn't calling his ex Carrie.
 

"Tony and I both laughed at that," Simpson said. "We got a chuckle out of it." But then she went through his call log to to see if he really was calling his ex.
 

"I looked at his call log," simpson said Wednesday in an interview with a Nashville radio station.
 

Carrie may be true or not, but what exactly did she hope to accomplish by making such a comment?
