Michael Phelps Sports Illustrated

Swimming champion Michael Phelps graces the cover of August 25, 2008 issue of Sports Illustrated Magazine. Phelps posed with his eight gold medals recreating the famous shot of Mark Spitz after he won seven golds in 1972.
 

Phelps shot the cover in an ancient temple in Beijing, China on Sunday night. The issue will hit newsstands tomorrow.
