Virgin Actor Shelley Malil Arrested for Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend

Shelley Malil , an actor who was featured in 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' has been arrested for allegedly viciously stabbing his ex-girlfriend. The San Diego County Sheriff's Department said Shelley Malil was taken into custody in connection with the attack that left the woman in critical condition.

Shelley Malil allegedly went to his ex's home yesterday and stabbed her in her home near San Diego. Authorities say he chased her inside and outside the house, stabbing her as many as 20 times. (TMZ)

A neighbor of the victim said,
 

"Her chin was almost entirely cut off. She had a huge gash in her arm that looked like a really deep wound that was bleeding profusely," , "She asked me to hold her and I could feel a lot of gashes in her back as well."
 

The victim is currently said to be in critical condition, but police believe she will survive her injuries.
