Hayden Panettiere's Father Arrested for Domestic Violence

Hayden Panettiere’s father Alan was arrested Monday morning on allegations of spousal abuse.


The Hero's star's Mom Leslie Vogel, accused Alan of striking her in the face. The couple were apparently at a party at Beso (Eva Longoria’s restaurant) earlier in the evening when the dad became upset because mom was "hanging" with someone else and he felt she was "disrespecting" him. The argument broke out after when they reached home.

"There was a domestic argument between the mother and father," Sgt. Scott Wolf of the West Hollywood sheriffs said. "He got upset and struck the mother in the face one or two times on the left cheek which caused some bruising. From what I'm told, he hit her with a closed fist.

"The mother called police shortly before 3 a.m., and Mr. Panettiere was taken into custody," Sgt. Wolf added. (Source)


Alan Panettiere is currently being held on $50,000 bail. Hours earlier, Hayden’s car, driven by Heroes costar/boyfriend Milo Ventimiglia, ran over a photographer’s foot outside Eva Longoria’s restaurant Beso in Los Angeles.
