Anne Hathaway broke it off with her boyfriend of four years, Raffaello Follieri just days before he was arrested last month and Anne thinks that the split has made her a stronger person.

"The worst thing that happens to you can be the best thing for you, if you don't let it get the best of you," Hathaway, 25, says in Britain's The Independent.

She adds, "I've always wanted a family. I'm not one of those people who says 'What's the point of marriage?’ (I'd like to) find someone you can be yourself around, who makes you laugh, who challenges you in a good way, and where you just speak off each other."

The Princess Diaries actress is ready to date and says:

“The goal is to find someone you can be yourself around, who makes you laugh, who challenges you in a good way, and where you just spark off each other. My parents have been married more than 25 years, with all the glory and all the pain you can imagine, but they’ve stayed together. I want a strong marriage like that. I’ve always wanted a family. I’m not one of those people who says, ‘What’s the point of marriage?"

With any luck Anne will learn from what has happened, unfortunatly Anne has been in the past been too quick to answer questions without thinking.   For instance only days before she broke up with Follieri she said she was dreaming of marrying this loser. Although attitudes have changed regarding marrige I doubt her parent will be too pleased with the above statement.   Anne is 25 her parents have been married for 25 yrs and she has an older brother, NICE ONE ANNE. Hopefully Anne will stop allowing other to rule her life both Private andproffessional
