Britney Spears in MTV VMA Promo

Britney Spears shot a promotional video for the MTV Video Music Award 2008 (VMA) yesterday with host Russell Brand. A 9000 lbs elephant also makes a cameo in the promo.
 

It was shot at Paramount Studios, the joint where this year's ceremony is being held. A source told E!
 

"It was mostly ad-libbed, with Russell asking her for advice about hosting the show. There's also a 9,000-pound elephant in it, as in 'the elephant in the room.' "

 
This year's VMA nominees are being chosen in part by the viewers, who vote for their favorites. So far, Spears is nominated for two  MTV Video Music Awards-  the Best Female Video for for "Piece of Me" and the Best Pop Video category.
 

It’s still not known as to whether the comeback diva will perform again this year.
