Christian Bale Arrested For Assault

'The Dark Knight' star Christian Bale has been arrested after allegedly assaulting his mother and sister at their shared hotel on Sunday night.
 

He allegedly attacked his 61-year-old mother Jenny and his 40-year-old sister Sharon at London’s Dorchester Hotel .
 

His mother and sister filed their complaint at a police station in Hampshire, England, yesterday.
 

A Scotland Yard spokesman told press “A 34-year-old man attended a London Police Station on Tuesday by appointment and was arrested in connection with an allegation of assault. He currently remains in custody.”
 

Update: Christian Bale has been released from jail after being questioned by police for more than four hours. He has reportedly left the station without any charge being made against him by the police.
