Christie Brinkley Peter Cook Divorce Trial Begins

Christie Brinkley and her estranged husband, Peter Cook's bitter divorce proceedings begin today in Long Island, NY. The fifty-four year old former supermodel filed for divorce from her fourth husband in 2006 after reports surfaced that he had an affair with 18-year-old assistant Diana Bianchi.
 

Diana Bianchi, the teenage home-wrecker who destroyed Christie Brinkley’s marriage will be one of the 44 witnesses called in the trial. Cook reportedly paid her $300,000 to keep her mouth shut about their affair.
 

Also expected to testify is Carri Lyn Ciamarra, a fitness model who said she had a “relationship” with Cook after he split with Christie.
 

In Brinkley favor, she has a prenuptial agreement that should stand up in court to allow her to keep her assets. Brinkley wants full custody of the two younger kids, while Cook is fighting for shared custody.The proceedings will be open to the public.
