Brad & Angelina Donate to Children in Iraq & the US
Who doesn’t love news like this? Hollywood’s golden couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $1 million to support the education of 8,000 children in Iraq and the US who are affected by war.
Jolie-Pitt Foundation announced the donation to four organizations working on behalf of children who have lost parents, homes and schools in Iraq.
For the Iraqi children, the money will go towards books and supplies, and to refugee children and rehabilitation programs. On the U.S. side, the money will go to children who have lost a military parent killed in the Iraq war or who are separated from a parent who is serving in Iraq.
Say what you will about the power couple, but they're actually making a difference in the world.
