In a recent interview with Newsweek.com, High School Musical starlet Vanessa Hudgens shot down a Star magazine story that claimed her co star beau Zac Efron doesn't shower.

NW: "HSM" director Kenny Ortega once told me you and Zac Efron started dating on the first "High School Musical," and I don't think I've ever heard that story.
VH: And I'm going to keep it that way.


NW: You're not going to tell me?
VH: No. Only because I don't want to talk about it. It might hurt the relationship. That's something I have to myself.


NW: So, is it hard to go on dates?
VH: No. We do what we want.


NW: Are the reports true that Zac doesn't like to shower?
VH: That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Whoever came up with that is completely idiotic.


NW: Because when I met him, he smelled perfectly fine.
VH: He showers! He showers! -Believe me, he does.


NW: Every day?
VH: Yes! Of course.

Has anyone else heard this rumor? Zac Efron doesn't shower!! What will we think of next...
