Toy Story Mania : Disney's New 4-D Ride

The new Toy Story Midway Mania ride premiered today in Disney's California Adventure Park. Inspired by the Disney-Pixar films "Toy Story" and "Toy Story II," Toy Story Mania, is an adventure ride into the 4-D world with our favorite "Toy Story" characters like Woody and Buzz.
 

The ride gives the illusion that riders have been shrunken to the size of toys in a child's room and can interact with them. More than 150 computers are employed to synchronize the various parts of the ride to create the illusion. 
 

The LA Times quoted one park visitor who attended a preview of the ride as saying that it was “absolutely mind-blowing. … It’s not an experience that I typically have [at an amusement park, where] things are typically passive."
