Here is the character poster featuring Scarlett Johansson from Frank Miller’s upcoming film adaptation of The Spirit  – in theaters Christmas Day 2008!
 

Scarlett , 23, stars as Silken Floss, a punk secretary and frigid vixen. Here's what Frank Miller said about the Spirit:
 

"The character has a terrifying side to him. This is a man who’s died and came back to life. So it twists into fantasy. And of course there are tons of women in it. There have to be — it’s The Spirit. They’re all in love with him, and he’s in love with all of them. You might say he’s a bit of a slut."
 

The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Eva Mendes, Jaime King, Jaime King, Eric Balfour.

i loooove Scarlett!  She is going to ROCK in this movie.  

I really am having high hopes for this film (especially from what I have seen recently) - I know some people are skeptical but I can't help to think that Miller is really gonna show us up.  Keeping my fingers crossed!
