She may have been defeated by Serena Williams at the French Open on Sunday, but Ashley Harkleroad stole the headlines by announcing she is posing for Playboy.
 

23-year-old tennis pro Ashley Harkleroad plans to bear it all in the August edition of Playboy. Harkleroad will be the first tennis player to appear in the magazine.
 

"I'm proud of my body," says Harkleroad who follows American swimmer Amanda Beard in baring all for the cameras, "I stay in shape and try to stay fit. I'm just trying to represent a female athlete and her body. That can be sexy too. It's no big deal."
