Britney Spears showed up on time at LA courthouse for a custody hearing Tuesday. Spears' ex-husband, Kevin Federline, who has full custody of their two sons, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James, arrived about 15 minutes after Britney.
Tuesday's hearing was to include discussion of a psychiatrist's evaluation of Spears, a person close to the case told The Associated Press.
Although, Britney has been very well behaved lately, it is unlikely that her custody status changes. “As long as Britney remains under a conservatorship, she has a long way to go before the court views her as a capable mother,” family lawyer Scott Weston, who is not involved in the case, told People.
Hopefully, Spears' child-custody hearing will have a positive outcome and she’ll be able to see her kids more often than now.
