Ashlee Simpson is pregnant!! Pop star Ashlee Simpson and her fiance, rocker Pete Wentz, are expecting a child together.
 

    “We are thrilled to confirm their engagement and congratulate this happy couple,” Wentz’s rep told Usmagazine.com. “Beyond that there is nothing to say.”
 

Congratulations to the happy couple.
 

Last week, Ashlee,23 and Pete , 28 announced that they would be getting married.  Simpson's father, Joe Simpson, told People magazine he's "totally happy" and "so excited to have Pete as part of (our) family."
 

UPDATE: Pete Wentz has denied reports that his fiancee, Ashlee Simpson, is in the family way.
