Spears received much praise for her work and her attitude. "She was hilarious in the table-read, and I got to see her do the run-through as well, and she was great," said cast member Jason Segel. "She was great and lovely and couldn't be sweeter."
Spears, who plays a receptionist at a dermatologist office, told press, “Working at How I Met Your Mother has been so terrific. Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I’m having a blast!”
