Jamie Lynn Spears's announcement Tuesday that she is pregnant at 16 has generated a lot of reaction.
While everyone was shocked, Britney stepped out for some shopping at the Lisa Kline Boutique, after the news. "She called us in the early evening and said she wanted to come shop for Christmas," the store's rep, Kate Diamond, tells PEOPLE. "She looks the best I've seen her in a really long time ... She was really, really nice, saying, 'Thanks, babe,' 'Yeah, babe.' Everything was 'babe.'"
Publisher cancels her mother's parenting book: Her mother's book on parenting -- Pop Culture Mom: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World -- has been put on hold. "The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not canceled," says Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.

Casey Aldridge, the father of the baby has been close to the Spears family, "He took amazing care of Jamie Lynn," a source close to the family tells PEOPLE.
But according to Life&Style,Jamie Lynn and the baby daddy Casey Aldridge are not together anymore. A source said, “They’re not dating now. He's really got nothing to offer this baby. He's a kid himself. They have no plans to get married. At this point, Jamie Lynn has asked her mom — and not Casey — to be in the delivery room with her.”
Casey Aldridge’s MySpace page status reads “Me and Jamie are over…..” His last login date was Tuesday.
