"I Am Legend" sets record
"I Am Legend," a sci-fi, action thriller starring Will Smith and Alice Braga, raked in $76.54 million in estimated ticket sales in its first weekend, Box Office Mojo reported Sunday.
"I am Legend", the story of a lone survivor in a post-apocalypse world, has some great action setpieces, and the director (Constantine's Francis Lawrence) had the brilliant idea of repeatedly focusing on a single "vampire" (one Dash Mihok) who appears to be the creatures' leader. Lovely Brazilian actress Alice Braga, has also done a great job.
