Britney Spears Charged with Hit and Run
This happened yesterday in Los Angeles and was in reference to charges stemming from the hit and run she had in the parking lot of a pharmacy in L.A. back in August. The one where she drove into a parked car, got out, checked her own car for damages, and left? It was later found out she was also driving without a license or a seatbelt.
If convicted, the singer could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each count, said Nick Velasquez, spokesman for the city attorney’s office.
Messages left with Spears’ attorneys were not immediately returned.
