Paris Settles Lawsuit
Paris Hilton has settled a defamation lawsuit out of court, avoiding having to make yet another court appearance this year. The reality TV star had been sued for $10 million by actress Zeta Graff, who dated Paris’ ex-fiancé, Paris Lastis. Graff accused Paris of spreading “vicious lies” about her, including one story that alleged she had tried to strangle Paris in a London nightclub and steal her diamond necklace. Hilton denied that she had leaked the story, but her former publicist Rob Shuter disagreed. Details of the settlement will remain confidential, according to Graff’s lawyer, Bruce Broillet.
