This morning, as we were breezing through a random collections of blogs, newspapers and such, we happened upon this Metro New York interview with our favorite Greenwich Village dog walker Janeane Garofalo. We were reminded of our old NYU days, when during our daily walks down 10th St. we would so often run into Garofalo and her dogs. And there was always some fellow NYU-er accosting her, asking to pet the dog, and gushing how Reality Bites was their favorite movie.
Apparently, our memories of those days are somehow different from hers.
Do you get stopped on the street a lot?
No, not at all. Dyed black hair and black glasses is not uncommon in any urban setting. I get a lot of “you remind me of” or “you look like” and my favorite being, “I don’t mean to offend you, but you look like Janeane Garofalo.”
Basically, we think she's just making this up — especially since, uh, her hair is blonde now.
