
As reported the CHP have recommended that Brandy be charged with misdemeanour vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence in the car crash that killed Aboudihah Awatef last month and things aren’t about to get any better for the songstress. The parents of Aboudihah have filed a $50 million wrongful death lawsuit against Brandy. The suit alleged that “Brandy was driving recklessly” at the time of the accident. People Magazine report that at the time of the tragic accident the mother of one was on her way to one of her two waitress jobs.
Brandy’s new rep said in a statement:
“The accident was a terrible tragedy and Brandy’s heart goes out to Awatef Aboudihaj’s family…But for legal reasons we cannot comment on this lawsuit.”
Page 6 reports that Brandy has fired Courtney Barnes as her rep and hired crises-management specialist Allan Mayer, “to try and salvage her Disney-esque reputation”.
